La spiaggia Des Bains è una vera e propria icona dei primi anni del ‘900 e fu descritta anche da Thomas Mann nel suo celeberrimo romanzo “Morte a Venezia”.
Luogo estremamente raffinato ed elegante, frequentato dal jet set internazionale sin dalla sua inaugurazione del 5 Luglio 1900, presenta oltre alle classiche capanne anche i famosi Tucul (capanne più ampie di forma cilindrica con il tetto ricoperto di paglia) che conferiscono un’atmosfera unica.
Per molti decenni questa spiaggia è stata scelta dalle migliori famiglie veneziane come meta balneare, grazie anche alla sua collocazione strategica, a pochi passi dall’approdo per Venezia.
